Dr. Mark Lazarus, MD – Medical Director, Med Experts

Dr. Mark Lazarus, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician, founded Med Experts in 2022, creating a premier platform that connects highly qualified medical experts with law firms across the United States. As Medical Director, Dr. Lazarus oversees all aspects of the platform, ensuring that its operations adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and expertise. Med Experts partners with a distinguished panel of over 200 board-certified medical expert witnesses, each carefully vetted by Dr. Lazarus to support complex litigation nationwide.

Dr. Lazarus graduated Magna Cum Laude from The George Washington University and earned his medical degree from Rush University, achieving a licensing board scores in the top national quartile. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California. Over more than a decade of clinical practice, Dr. Lazarus has also mentored medical students and residents, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lazarus has served on multiple committees focused on improving patient care, including Chair of Morbidity and Mortality, Chair of the Physician-Nurse Collaborative Committee, and member of the Peer Review, Medical Supervisory, Professional Practice Review, Utilization Review, and Judiciary Review Committees.
